Scripture: 1 Peter 1:1

     The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the single most defining moment in the history of the world. The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is the single most important fact for Christianity. The Apostle Paul said these words to the Corinthian Christians. "And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless, and so is your faith (15:14). A few verses latter Paul says again, "And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; and you are still in your sins. Then those who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men."
